Frieda May Orgill

Our caring and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister passed away on October 10, 2016 from cancer surrounded by her family.  She was born on November 8, 1931 in Ogden, Utah to Allen & Mabel Jones.

Frieda married Merrill Orgill on January 4, 1951 in Upton, Utah and was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.  Merrill and Frieda bought a farm in Chalk Creek and they took pride in working the land and raising their family.  She enjoyed working as a substitute teacher and interacting with the North Summit Students.  She was an active member of the Upton LDS Ward and enjoyed serving in many organizations and callings.  She spent many hours serving unselfishly to her family and friends.  She and her husband served an honorable mission in the Ogden LDS Temple.

She is survived by her 6 children Cheryl (Jerrold) Willoughby, Jeffrey (Julie) Orgill, Kevin (Shannon) Orgill, Rodney (Molly) Orgill, Kirk (Rachel) Orgill and Kimberly (Jason) Greer.  She is survived by 27 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, sisters Lorene (Gail) Billings, Wilma (Ward Dean) Morby.  She was preceded in death by her husband, brother, sisters, grandsons Brian Orgill, Kameron Orgill and Keatin Greer, and a great-granddaughter, Olivia Orgill.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 at 12:00 noon at the Upton Ward Chapel, address is 2455 East Chalk Creek Road.  Friends may pay tribute to Frieda on Thursday, October 13 from 6:00 to 8: 00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the Upton Ward Church. Interment will take place at the Upton Cemetery following the services.

As a family we would like to express sincere thanks and appreciation to Symbii Team Melanie, Elsie, Kathy and Ashley for all their love and service given to our Mom, also Robyn for her help and friendship.
