Franklin Dale Steadman

Franklin Dale Steadman passed away Sunday, January 20th, 2019 at home, surrounded by his family.

He was born November 30, 1941 to James and La Von Steadman and grew up in West Jordan. He married his sweetheart Evelyn "Irene" Taylor on December 1, 1961 and they had 3 children, Corielynn, Douglas and Gary, 3 granddaughters, Chantel (Lucas), Whitney (Buddy) and Samantha, and 7 great-grandchildren, James, Cayli, Zayden, Reese, Madison, Mckenzie and Kaeden.

Dale was the mechanic in the family and worked at the same Ford dealership location for 45 years, collected cars and enjoyed going to car shows.

He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, yard work and spending time with family. He always said he had the "best family in the world."

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Irene, brothers Jay (Florence) and Steven (Robyn), sisters Myrtle (Charles) and Shirley (Tom) and son Gary.

He is survived by brother, Ladell (Shelba), children Corie and Doug, 3 granddaughters and 7 great-grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by so many family and friends.

A viewing for all family and friends will be held Friday, January 25, 2019 from 6-8 pm and at noon on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, UT, followed by a graveside service at West Jordan City Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
