She was born December 24, 1922 in Woodside, Utah to John and Pauline Berra Ruggeri.
She was educated at Norte Dame Catholic School in Price, Utah. She graduated from Carbon High School in 1941 and Holy Cross School of Nursing in 1944.
She married Albert D. Nichols July 12, 1945. He passed away in 1956. She married Reuben L. Cunliffe June 3, 1961. He passed away in 2002.
Survivors include her children Douglas A. Nichols (Julie) and Jann Linza (Joseph) and her grandchildren Tyler D. Nichols (Beverly), Jeffrey W. Sanderson (Elena), Traci Tanner (Zac), Steven Sanderson (Heidi), Alisyn Sanderson, Ashley Huntington (Mark), Amy Utz (Jeffrey), 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 2100 South 500 East, Salt Lake City, Utah on July 10, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Her cremains will be interred at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
