Floyd Clinton Huffman, 79, of Sandy, Utah, passed away on November 15, 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah, surrounded by his family. He was born on May 9, 1939 in Rockbridge County, Virginia to Harry Lee and Mary K. Agner Huffman. Floyd later moved to Sandy, Utah. He married Shirley Marie Kelso on December 19, 1971 in Elko, Nevada.
Floyd spent his life as a truck driver and then as a construction worker building homes. He loved the great outdoors and spending time in the mountains with his family. He loved his grandkids, as well as joking around and a good laugh.
He is survived by his sweetheart, Shirley; sons, Craig (Sandra) Petersen and Mark (Cynthia) Petersen; grandchildren, Alexander Petersen, Amanda Petersen, Derek (Macie) Petersen, Christopher Petersen, Joseph Petersen, Aaron Petersen, Michael Petersen and Anna (Nathan) Fisk.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah.
