Filadelfio Duran Casaus

Our beloved father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and into the arms of our Heavenly Father on July 14, 2016. Born Oct. 27, 1924 to Elasio and Clatilda Casaus in Chamisal, New Mexico. He joins his wife, two sons, his grandson, two brothers, two sisters, and parents in Heaven.

Dad was a veteran of WWII, and worked at Kennecott Copper 38 years before retiring.

He has left behind Ofelia Reyes, Francis and Cheryl Casaus, Frank Casaus and Elisha Doyle, Rose Casaus and Jerry Suarze, Clatilda Casaus and Cindy Casaus, 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandkids. He was loved and will be missed.

Mass will be held Tuesday, July 19, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 7405 S. Redwood Road. There will be a viewing at the church Monday from 6-8 p.m. with Rosary at 7:30 p.m., and again Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment following services at West Jordan City Cemetery.
