Fern Mcabee

Fern passed away on March 9, 2015 at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on July 2, 1923 in West Jordan, Utah to Charles and Loretta Rogers Severson. Fern married Curtis Barnett. Later divorced. She then married Clay McAbee who preceded her in death.

Fern attended Jordan High School. She worked as a seamstress, sales lady, real estate agent and as a model for Rose Marie Reid. Fern was a resident of California for 25 years.

Survived by her children, Kenneth (Sandy) Barnett, Norma Jean Barnett and Jack (Treissa) Barnett; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; stepchildren, Michael McAbee, Steve McAbee, Margaret Miles and Sue Pepper.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the West Jordan City Cemetery, 7800 S. 1300 W. A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street.
