Felix Lucas Benitez “Chopo”

Our beloved son, father, grandpa, brother, uncle (great), and friend to many reunited with his father George L. Benitez in the early hours of February 26, 2023. He leaves behind 3 wonderful children and 3 beautiful grandchildren. Felix who was known by Chopo was a wonderful devoted family man who loved his family with all his heart and soul. Chopo had a heart of gold and would give anybody in need the shirt off his back. He made sure his mother Mary Gilpin was well taken care of and had everything she needed. Not only was he overprotective of his mother he was also highly protective over his family and friends. He was a wonderful father and loved each of his children dearly. His children were his world and he did everything he could for them. He had 3 beautiful granddaughters whom he loved just as much. He also had a great niece who is more like a granddaughter in his eyes. Chopo made sure his children, grandchildren and great niece had everything they needed in life.
