Federico Santiago Perez

Federico Santiago Perez, of Midvale, Utah, passed away surrounded by family on September 2, 2018.

He was born July 17, 1939 in Hatillo, Puerto Rico.

Fico loved spending his time tinkering. He was always working on a car or fixing a lawn mower or any other mechanical thing he got his hands on. He spent countless hours searching pawn shops for treasures he could take home and make new again. He had many friends who loved him and he enjoyed spending time with them. He loved his family very much and was always there for them. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him

He is survived by his wife, Martha Rivera, his children, Fredrick Santiago, Elva Collins, Adolfo R. Gonzalez, Anthony J. Gonzalez, Gaylen Gonzalez, Ruben Santiago, Mirta Santiago, Norma Rodriguez, Mayra Rodriguez, Elsa Santiago, 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son Ramon Santiago.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all of his friends that also made his life a joy.

Funeral services will be held September 10, 2018 at 11:00 am, at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street, Midvale, Utah 84047. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Interment will be held at Sandy City Cemetery.
