Farrel Morgan Warner, age 79, passed away Saturday, July 24th, 2021 in Taylorsville, Utah surrounded by his family. He was born July 18, 1942 in Fillmore, Utah to Farrel Russell and Elizabeth Hatch Warner. He married Glenda Mae Peterson on April 24, 1962 in the Manti Temple. They had five children. They later divorced and he married Sharon Nice in Salt Lake City on January 22, 1992. With this marriage he inherited five step children.
Farrel attended grade school in Scipio Utah, and junior high and high school in Fillmore, Utah.
He worked for Consolidated Freightways for 27 years.
Farrel enjoyed camping, fishing and attending the Ute Stampede every year with his family. He also loved to take his short trips out to Wendover.
Farrel is survived by his five children: Jeri Warner, Jeff (Sherrin) Warner, Russell (Rahjaun) Warner, Doug (Beverly) Warner, and Kim Warner; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, his brother Dan (Lynnette) Warner; 4 step children John Nice, Kaye Knipe-Moreland (Bridger) Dee Dee Knipe; and James Daniel Nice, 14 step grandchildren, and 13 step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon, his parents, his sister Vicky Taylor, stepson Dock Knipe Ill, and one step grandchild.
A viewing will be held the evening of Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm at Goff Mortuary located at 8090 S. State, Midvale, Utah.
A memorial service will be held at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 1125 N 400 E, Nephi, Utah, Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 12:00 noon, where there will be a viewing one hour prior to the services.
