Eva €Œmarcy†Marcele Newsome

Our beautiful mom was called home on July 26, 2020. She was born on May 3, 1947 to Effie Nelson and John Shannon in Keyser W.V. She married the love of her life, her eternal companion David C. Newsome Sr. on June 23, 1963 in Ridgely, W.V. and they were sealed for time and all eternity on April 23, 1966 in the Los Angeles Temple.

Marcy dedicated her life to her family. She worked alongside her husband to run a family business and raise their children. She loved being a mom, but even more than that, she loved being a Nana. She took pride in her children and grandchildren and all that they did. She loved traveling with her husband, visiting family, and taking trips "back home" to West Virginia.

Marcy is survived by her children: Shawna (Keven) Harr; Russ (Tracey) Newsome; Jed (Melissa) Newsome; Sarah (Joshua) Webb; and Tommy (Andrea) Newsome. Her sisters: Darlene Baniak and Evelyn (John) McCabe. Her brother John Clark. And 27 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren that she absolutely adored. Preceded in death by her husband Dave, her son Davy, her daughter Patricia, both parents, her sisters Dorothy Jean and Mary Alice, and her granddaughter Kelsi.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Home (94 West 300 North).
