Eudena Rae Vernieuw

Eudena Rae Vernieuw passed away on March 21, 2018 at the age of 81.

She was born on October 23, 1936 in Ogden, Utah to Margaret and Myron Myrick. Eudena married Gary Vernieuw on October 20, 1956 in Evanston, Wyo.

She was raised and educated in Evanston, Wyoming graduating in 1955. She attended Parks Business School in Denver, CO graduating with a degree in accounting.

She worked at various downtown Ogden businesses, retiring from HAFB in 1985 when her and Gary moved back to their beloved Wyoming.

She was active in Jobs Daughters, American Business Women's and Trinity Presbyterian Church.

Survived by her husband Gary, her son Terry (Keri), daughter Kathleen Vernieuw Norton, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and her brother James (Rosie) Myrick.

Preceded in death by her parents and son Samuel.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be conducted at a later date in Big Piney, Wyoming.

The family would like to thank South Ogden Post Acute, their entire staff and to JaCoy for being an angel of mercy. Also, Brighton Hospice for their kindness and care in her final days.
