Ernestine Walker

Ernestine Walker, 77, passed away Friday, October 20, 2017. She was born on April 10, 1940 in Round Rock, Texas to Walter and Ada Wilson.

Ernestine loved to sing, garden, and meet new people. Her favorite was cooking and baking. From Texas to Utah, someone has tasted some of "Erna Burnas" food and goodies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ada; 3 brothers, Freddie, Early, and Roy; 2 sisters, Ira and Lessie B.

She is survived by her 4 children, Derwin, Sacramento, CA; Cleveland and wife Araceli, Heber, CA; Myron, Abilene, TX, and Adrian, Houston, TX; 6 grandchildren, Miles, Nastasia, Desmond, Levi, Cleve Jr., and Mariah; 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family would like to thank the University of Utah hospital staff, Avalon Valley Nursing and Rehab, Calvary Baptist Church (Rev. Davis), the Seasoned Mafia, Julia, and anyone who ever met Momma.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 28, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 1090 S. State St., with a viewing at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
