Elaine Ross Harman passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014, in Murray, Utah. She was born to Devear Carl Ross and Martha Louisa Jackson in Roosevelt, Utah on October 18, 1936. She was raised in Tridell, Utah. The family moved to Creek Road, in Union, Utah where Elaine graduated from Jordan High School. She worked and attended night school and graduated from Cassique School. She married David B. Harman, Jr. on October 25, 1954. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Long Beach and San Diego, CA while Dave was serving in the Navy. When Dave was released, they returned to Utah to make their home and family. They had 4 children, Gary, Steve, Rick, and Lori.

Elaine loved cooking and baking and had her own bakery business for 5 years, making birthday and all occasion cakes, as well as all wedding cakes for a local reception center. Later she worked for Trendsetter Jewelry and supervised 7 Denver stores and some Utah stores. She worked for ZCMI as a decorator and completed her decorating career at Granite Furniture as Department Supervisor of the Layton store. She retired to be a caregiver for elderly parents. Elaine was an active member of the LDS Church, and enjoyed various positions in the Primary, Young Women's, and Relief Society Presidency. She and Dave served over 10 years as Temple Sealers, and loved it.

Elaine loved tending her grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. She enjoyed scrapbooking, and completed many. After Dave had 3 strokes, she became his caregiver for several years.
