Elaine Heugly Eldredge

On August 8, 2022, Elaine Heugly Eldredge, our beloved mother, mother in law, aunt, grandma, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 92. Her loving, kind, and gracious presence will truly be missed by all who knew her.

After graduating from Granite High School, she married Douglas Frank Eldredge in the Salt Lake Temple on October 28, 1948. Doug and Elaine proudly welcomed three children: daughter, DaLayne and two sons, Mark (deceased) and Russ. She devoted her life to her family and home.

Elaine is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Douglas Frank; son, Mark Douglas; parents, Wilford Livingston and Florida Wheat Heugly; seven sisters Martha Jane, Edith Louise, Flora Bernice, Jeneve, Mary Jeane, Darlene, and Marlene; and two brothers Wilford Glen and Joseph Lenard. Elaine is survived by daughter, DaLayne; son, Russ Livingston; daughter-in-law, Rene Crawford; four grandchildren, Mel Jr. (Camee) Pollard, Chase (Alex) Eldredge, Tanner (Laura) Eldredge, Haylie (Chandler) Smith; and five great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Jenson, Harvey, Stella, and Ellie.

Our family would like to thank Kadie Wiseman from Canyon Hospice and Dr. Daniel Yarrish for their loving care.

Graveside services for Elaine will be held at noon, August 16, at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4850 South, Salt Lake City, Utah 84117.
