Edna Greta Neilsen

Edna Greta Neilsen, 92, passed away peacefully in her home on August 9, 2017. Edna was born February 20, 1925 in Fountain Green, Utah to Howard Ernest and Mabel Lund Allred. She married the love of her life, Paul Neilsen, in Nephi, Utah in 1969 and they were later sealed in the Provo LDS Temple. They spent their life together on the family farm in Mona, Utah where they had many happy years together.

She was an active member of the LDS church and was a proud lifetime member of the DUP holding many valued positions. She enjoyed scrapbooking, family history, baking, gardening, canning, knitting, making beautiful embroidery, quilts, and baby blankets that will be cherished by her family forever. She loved spending time with her family more than anything.

Survived by her children, Gail Cloward, Ellen (Alan) Dawson, 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandsons.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, son James Higginson, son-in-law Welles J. Cloward, 3 brothers Boyd, Clayton, and Edgel, grandson Patrick Tidwell.

Edna's family would like to thank the staff at Central Valley Home Health and Hospice for their love and care.

Graveside services will be held at Mona City Cemetery Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
