Eddie (Ed) Lamont Wolt

Eddie (Ed) Lamont Wolt went to be with the Lord on October 11, 2017. Ed was born in Nampa, Idaho on June 1, 1942 to Emil and Mary Wolt. Ed spent his childhood in Homedale, Idaho, where he had a paper route and played basketball. Ed loved fishing and deer hunting with family and friends. He grew up in a Christian home and fully surrendered his life to Jesus when he was 14 years old. Ed has been a faithful follower of Jesus ever since.

Ed married his Linda Lee on July 2, 1964 in the Nazarene Church in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Shortly after their marriage, Ed's example led Linda Lee to the Lord that same year. It was also in 1964, where Ed moved his family to Salt Lake City and raised them. Ed was a family man and enjoyed taking his family and friends camping, fishing and boating. Ed poured his life into other people and was known as "Ready Eddie" given he was always willing to help.

Ed is survived by his loving wife Linda Lee, sons Scott and Jon (daughter Madison), and daughter Wendy Patterson (husband Jeff; daughter Ashley; son Jake). Ed is also survived by two brothers Gary (wife Jeri), Terril (wife Peggy deceased) and sister Barbara Russo (husband Mike). Ed is also survived by nephews Ryan, Phillip, Michael and Peter Wolt.

Ed's Celebration of Life Service is to be held Monday, October 16, 11 am at Mountain View Christian Assembly of God Church, 8000 South 300 East, Sandy, UT 84070.
