Edward Eugene Aagard, age 79 passed away at his home on July 14, 2024.
He was born October 7, 1944 in Provo Utah to Gene and Mary Aagard.
Ed married Benet Andreason on February 21, 1971, they had three kids together, Dallas Eugene Aagard, Dinelle Aagard and Kristina (Tina) Nicholas. Together they raised their family in Levan. They later divorced but remained good friends.
He served 4 years in the Army, and was stationed in Thailand during Vietnam where he was a heavy equipment operator. After serving, he worked as an operating engineer in road construction, as well as ranching and farming.
He was a talented leather worker, built saddles, harnesses, buggies and loved braiding reins and bridles. If you knew him you never walked away without one of his treasures or leatherwork. He loved to tinker in his shop and yard, there wasn't anything he couldn't build or fix. He was a true Jack of all trades. If he wasn't tinkering, he would be out playing with his pride and joy, his donkeys. He made friends everywhere he went.
Ed is preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Mary, and his brother Tom.
Survived by children Dallas (Susie) Aagard, Dinelle Aagard, Tina (Clay) Nicholas, siblings Diane Ballow, Donna Bess, and Brent (Margie) Aagard, his 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and his best friend Jeremy Jenkins.
Special thanks to his nurses, he loved them all and they took the best care of him.
