Earl Wayne Gordon passed away on August first, 2020 in his home in Ogden, Utah from complications due to heart failure, and diabetes. Two days away from his 46th Birthday. He was born on August 3rd, 1974 in Ventura California, to Darrell Gene Vest and Beverly Gail Vest. He had a tough life, he grew up in multiple foster homes. However he excelled in sports, mainly wrestling. He took second in state, in Redding California. He loved his coach Jett. Who helped him a lot in his teenage years. He also loved going over to his grandparents house, and spending time with his family, his grandpa taught him a lot and mentored him.
Earl attended college, on a wrestling scholarship, and he worked several different jobs. And while he enjoyed everything he did, he was most successful in his time working with the mentally disabled. Earl also loved sports, movie collecting, and many different genres of music. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan.
He truly enjoyed people, and had friends from all over the world, through gaming and social media sites. He was well loved by many. Earl was converted to the church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, in his early twenties.
He was survived by his wife, Rochelle West Gordon, Children, Amanda Dovie, Sterling Jeremy, Maikeyla Rose, Parker Dallas, his sister, Krystal Gale Robbins (Rodney Adam Robbins), and their son Darrin Michael Douglas Vest Robbins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrell Gene Vest, and Beverly Gail Gordon, Grandparents John Charles Gordon and Dovie Lavon Lister, and Charles Vest and Betty Vest, and brother Jeremy Charles Vest.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 10th at Salt Lake Valley Mortuary. There will be a viewing from 11:30 to 12:30, a service to follow until 1:30. A graveside is scheduled afterwords at 2:00 pm at Elysian Burial Gardens.
