Duane Ezra Knight, 82 years of age, passed away peacefully in his home with his wife by his side, the morning of Wednesday, August 26, 2020.
Duane was born June 28, 1938 in Bingham, Utah to his parents Ruth and Dexter. He was the oldest of two siblings Geraldine and Bruce.
In 1961 he began 58 years of marriage to his beautiful wife June. They had two daughters, Brenda and Janet.
Many will remember him as a real life John Wayne. The type of man who didn't think twice before saving his sister from a runaway horse. His working years were spent as a haulage driver at Kennecott Coppermine. His spare time was spent fishing with the grandkids and building things around the house, and his retirement watching old western movies. At times he had a gruff exterior, but there was never a time his family doubted his love.
Duane leaves behind a loving wife, sisters, daughter, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, August 31st at Pleasant Green Cemetery and livestreamed via Facebook for social distancing.
