Duane Charles Carroll 12*22*1946 to 1*10*2017 "ZEKE" Duane also known as Zeke passed away in the early morning January 10 2017. he was surrounded by his children, and his furry faithful Cat Cleo. He fought a long hard Battle with Leukemia and Heart Failure. He lived an eventful life filled with love and, laughter. Many stories and laughs can be shared by the people who came in contact with him. He enjoyed spending time at the farm, helping his father do what ever needed to be done, and then hanging out by the fire after hours with his children, nieces and nephews whom he loved deeply. Duane Entered into the US ARMY in 1967, and finished with an Honorable discharge in 1972. He met Terri Jean Wedel during this time, and in January of 1970, they were pronounced Husband and Wife. November of 2011, Terri passed away from Breast Cancer. Together they had 4 Children, Daughter Rhonda Carroll, that pass away shortly after birth. Son Neal Carroll, who gave them 3 grand children and, one great grand child. Son Robert Carroll, who gave them 4 grand children. Daughter Ryan { Nathan } Heap, who gave them 2 grand children. Duane worked for Kennecott . Later moved to Arizona and worked for Ray Mine. He studied to become a Lineman. When finished he worked with Union Local 387 in Arizona. Later he returned to Utah, and started working with Union Local 57. During these times, he has met and bonded with some amazing Union brothers. Duane is survived by his Children: Neal Carroll, Robert Carroll, Ryan {Nathan} Heap. His Siblings: Lola Jean{Les} Feliciana, Orin{Lynnette} Carroll, David{Marla} Carroll Duane is preceded in death by: Daughter Rhonda Carroll Father and Mother Neal K. Carroll, and Vernice Carroll. Duane's family would like to thank: Rocky Mountain Home Health & Hospice Aspen Funeral Home A very special thanks to James Fang MD.& Min Ji Park APRN No formal funeral will be held by request of Duane. A Veteran Memorial will be held for family early summer of 2017. A Casual open house will be held in February for family and friends of Duane Carroll.
