Douglas Edward Burdette

Douglas Edward Burdette May 11, 1924 � September 23, 2016 Douglas was born in Salt Lake City, Utah May 11, 1924, to Dr. Joseph and Alice Burdette. He was the youngest with three older brothers Clarence, Joseph and Grant, all deceased. Douglas graduated from South High School and University of Utah. He was blessed to finalize his working career with Mountain Fuel Company. Douglas was married to Karen Clark for 43 years in mortal life and life everlasting in the Heavenly realm. Karen passed in 2005. Karen and Douglas were blessed with three children: Kathryn Burdette, residing in Oregon, Debra Burdette Clark (deceased) formerly from Heber, Utah, and Douglas Burdette from Salt Lake City. Also survived by daughter-in-law Keli Burdette, son-in-law Tim Clark, step-grandson Jason Clark, grandchildren Christopher Beretta (deceased), Adrienne Nakamura, Danielle Clark and Olivia Burdette. Services will be held 11:00am at Foothill 6th Ward 2215 East Roosevelt Avenue, visitation one hour prior. Internment at Wasatch Lawns.
