Dorothy Jean Godfrey

Dorothy Jean Godfrey passed away peacefully in her sleep at home next to her husband of 50 years on Saturday, November 28th, 2015. She lived a rich full life, loved by so many whose lives she had touched. Mother of three and "mom" to so many more, her heart like her home was always open to all. Released from the pains of illness brought on by MS, she has now been reunited with her son Jim who preceded her in death and is survived by her loving husband and constant eternal companion Edward Lewis Godfrey and her sons Kerry and Jeff, and stepsons Barrett and Rolfe. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 3rd, 2015 at 6 PM at: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3836 W. 4100 S., West Valley City, UT 84120 All are invited to attend and help us celebrate the life of Jean, devoted wife, mother, artisan, missionary and friend.
