Donald Egan Hansen

Donald Egan Hansen, age 84, passed away April 12, 2016 of natural causes. He was born August 5, 1931 in Salem, Oregon to David and Phoebe Hansen.

Don served in the Navy during the Korean War. He drove truck for 43 years to support his family and had a love for old trucks. He was a member of the American Truck Historical Society and enjoyed going to antique car and truck shows. He was also a constant joker who always had a dirty joke to share.

Don is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, two sisters and one great grandson. He is survived by his wife, Lyla Downs Hansen, children, Mindy, Donnie, Nicci, Julie, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, sister in law Jean, and many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held at Goff Mortuary (8090 State Street), Sunday, April 17, 2016, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Graveside service at Midvale City Cemetery (450 West 7500 South), Monday, April 18, 2016, 12:30 p.m. with a viewing prior at Goff Mortuary from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
