Donald Eugene Bybee

Donald Eugene Bybee, 85, of�Springville, Utah, passed away peacefully at home on October 5, 2016 surrounded by loved ones. Don was born November 5, 1930 in Dodge City, Kansas to Jerald Eugene and Nellie Moser Bybee. Don loved adventure, laughter, and living life to the fullest. He was a real charmer. Don was raised on the family farm in Springville, Utah. He graduated from Springville High in 1949 and was the varsity high school quarterback. He served an LDS mission in Australia from 1950-1952. After studying Business at BYU he pursued a career in radio broadcasting with the Bonneville Corporation. Don excelled there and became general manager at KSL Radio in Salt Lake City, and eventually president of Bonneville's Midwest Division. He passionately enjoyed people, fishing, hunting, and visiting the family cabin at Bear Lake. Don later served LDS missions with his wife Esther Rae to the Christmas Islands, Family History Center in St. George, and the Red Cross Disaster Relief in Louisiana and Texas. He is survived by his wife, Esther Rae, and his children: Tracy Bybee, Todd Bybee (mother: Barbra Joann Waite); Diana (David) Davis, Robert (Julie) Bryner, Jerry (Lydia) Bryner, Heather Bybee (Eric) Elmburg, Jennifer Bybee (Brian) Sizemore, and Suzie Bybee (Jamie) McKenzie (mother: Anna Louise Armstrong); Mark (Suzy) Morgan, Mike (Susan) Morgan, Scott Morgan, Marty (Lydia) Morgan, Max (Becky) Morgan, Monty (Natalie) Billie (mother: Esther Rae Bybee). He is also survived by his brother, Craig Bybee, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.�He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Marie Dean Aplanalp, Larry Bybee, and step-son Matthew (Michelle) Morgan. Funeral services will be held�on Saturday, October 8th at 2:00 p.m.�at the LDS Kolob 8th Ward Chapel,�840 South 400 East Springville, Utah.�A viewing will be�October 7, 2016�at 11:00 a.m., Aspen Funeral Home,�459 W. Universal Circle�(9160 S.), Sandy, UT. Interment will be held�on October 7th�at the Logan Cemetery.
