Dianne Barney Kreth

Dianne Barney Kreth returned to our Heavenly Father on December 20, 2024. She died peacefully surrounded by family. We know she had a joyous reunion with her husband and 2 boys.

Dianne was born October 20, 1948 to Arnold Barney and Beth Hall. Dianne was raised in Springville. There she met her High School sweetheart. They raised their 6 children in Springville and later moved to Provo UT, where she made lots of friends and loved ones.Dianne and Tom retired and moved to Nephi to be closer to family.

Dianne married Tom on June 5, 1970 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Dianne worked many jobs to juggle her 6 children, who she loved with all her heart. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest blessings. She dedicated her life to her family. She was always throwing the best holiday parties, birthday parties and the best pranks on April fools day.

Dianne was a devout member of the LDS Church. She held many callings throughout her life. Dianne was a caregiver to many. Always putting others first, We will miss her laughter, her giving heart, her advice, most of all her healing hugs.

Dianne is survived by her 4 children, Matt and Jenny Kreth, Tad and Lynna Kreth, Shara and Jedd Davis and Sandrakae and Jared Steele. She leaves her 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and two great grandchildren on the way.

Dianne is preceded in death by her eternal companion Thomas Kreth, 2 sons, Troy Kreth, Branyn Kreth, both parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister and countless extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 30, 2024 in the 2nd Ward LDS Church at 222 South 100 East, Nephi, UT. 

There will be a viewing prior to the funeral from 9:30 to 10:45. Funeral service is at 11:00 followed by a luncheon. Interment will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery located at 1997 South 400 East, following the luncheon.
