Dennis Paul Hoyne

Dennis Paul Hoyne, 77, passed away on February 14, 2024 in Midvale, Utah. He was born on August 28, 1946 in East Chicago, Indiana to Peter Thomas Hoyne and Marylou McDonald. Dennis married Diane on January 24, 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He worked 40 years at Kennecott, driving the house-size dump trucks. He enjoyed fishing. He spent significant time coaching his kids in football and baseball and watching all the games. He collected 45’s (records).

Survived by Tracy Hoyne Sanchez and Eloy, Alan Ryan Hoyne and Wendy, Dennis Peter Hoyne and Julie, Barbara Shaw (partner), brother Bruce Hoyne and wife Sherrie, seven grandkids, nine great-grandkids and three stepkids.

Viewing at 11:00 am on February 17 at Goff Mortuary. Graveside service at 12:30 pm for family only.
