Deborah Marie Thomas Tidwell

An angel was called back into the loving arms of her husband and mother on September 21, 2024.

Everyone grew to love her survivor spirit. She brought with her a light that could never be dimmed. Our mother taught us that family values were most important and the true meaning of unconditional love and forgiveness. She had a strong belief of life after we pass. Her laughter could light up any room. She really enjoyed spending time with family, a chance to laugh and being there for her great grandchildren. She loved and invited each one into our family and valued each moment she got to spend with them. 

She spent her free time working on herself to become an even better mother. She is our rock and will always be with us. 

Deborah is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil G Thomas, Lois M Baxter, Thomas Elmer, Husband; Patrick Tidwell, Brothers; Douglas G Thomas and Sherald D Thomas, Stepfather; Clyde Elmer, Brother in law; Rodney L Chlarson, Niece’s; Vickie Thomas and Melinda Thomas. She is survived by her sister; Shauna and Steve Call, Brother; Gary and Melissa Thomas, Sister; Shirley and Don Barlow, her kids; Jessica Bybee, Janelle Wilkinson, Jack Wilkinson and Justin Wilkinson and 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Home (94 West 300 North) with a viewing one hour prior. Burial will be at the Vine Bluff Cemetery.
