Receiving her High School Diploma from Grantsville High School in 2000 at the age of 46 she graduated top of her class. For 40 plus years, Debbie worked as a Property and Casualty Insurance Agent and met many people along her journey, who became lifelong friends. Prior to the insurance business she was a cashier at Safeway and Harmons, never leaving the workforce except to be down long enough to have her children.
Debbie was an avid Cowboys Fan and loved to joke with her kids about NFL. She also had a love for NASCAR, and prior to her son Justen’s passing they enjoyed rooting for Harvick together. Other times she enjoyed boating with her family, fishing and being in the mountains surrounded by nature while later growing a love for Wendover. She loved to crochet blankets for her grandchildren when they were born.
Debbie is survived by her only living child Nicole (Joseph) Hackbarth of Stansbury Park, UT, ten grandchildren (including those in marriage), six great-grandchildren, boyfriend; David Bertram, dear friend/Mother of a Grandson; Stephanie Parker, and many other close friends, which her nurturing and caring nature make too many to list.
