David Paul Lunt

David Paul Lunt, age 82, passed away peacefully on September 1st, 2023, at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, in Provo Utah. He was born on May 1st, 1941, in Nephi, Utah to Raymond and Florence Lunt.

He married Terrell Dawn Christiansen, on November 5th, 1960 in the Manti, Utah Temple.

He was a hard-working business man, and ran a successful steel company in Salt Lake City, Utah. He taught his sons the value of work as they grew up and joined him in helping run the business.

His work ethic was reflected in the ways that he served in many church callings, and civic responsibilities. He was grateful to be able to fulfill a service mission with his wife, Terrell. He also served on the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council for Draper, Utah, where they raised their family.

He enjoyed hunting, camping and spending time at the cabin. He loved sharing these activities with his family, and creating great memories.

He is survived by his wife Terrell, and sons Tod Lunt, Shawn (Monette) Lunt, and Quinn (Becky) Lunt. Also survived by seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Florence Lunt, brother, Gordon Lunt, and sister Barbara Lovell.

Graveside service will be held for immediate family at Vine Bluff Cemetery, 1200 N 400 E, Nephi, Utah on Friday, September 8th, 2023 at 11:00 am.
