David Kelsey

David Louis Kelsey, Loving Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend, was born January 25, 1936 in Meadow, Utah, to Roland and Venetta Bond Kelsey. He was raised in Roosevelt, Utah, and graduated high school in Roosevelt.

He spent 3 years in the Marine Corps (1954-1957).

Married Teralee Strange 7-7-1957, they had 3 children together, Kelly, Michael and Shannon.

He married Grace Gallegos in 1962, she preceded him in death.

He had step children Joe Montano, Richard Montano, Ronald Montano and  Margaret Montano.

He had many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was a construction worker for many years, then went to work at UTA as a bus driver. He loved driving the bus, he retired when he was 80 and still wanted to keep working.

He was an avid and competitive golfer, one of his favorite things to do. He could be seen early mornings doing his fast walks to stay in shape, he was a go getter.

His funeral will be a graveside service in April 2024.
