David Albert Brunyer

David Albert Brunyer passed away from respiratory failure at his home Saturday morning, November 28, 2015. He was born to Albert DuWayne Brunyer and Violet Wharton (Manwill) in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was married to Shirley Ann Tucker on January 10, 1983.

David loved life, as a child he was always very talented and creative. He was a wonderful artist and loved to make wood carvings and draw.

He loved the outdoors, horse riding, fishing, hunting, his dogs, logging, and motorcycle riding. He was a master at fixing anything that was broke. He loved to tinker with old cars, and motorcycles, but most of all he loved his family.

David had a sharp wit that would have everyone laughing on any occasion.

He built his own cabin, cutting all the logs himself and making the rock fireplace, carving a fish on one gable end, and an eagle on the other end. This is where he called home for the past 17 years.

He loved his horses and raised many of them; he also had pigs, chickens, and dogs.

He is survived by his wife Shirley, daughter Ebonie Michelle and (Loren) Davis, a daughter Andrea Lyn, and a son David Jr., two grandchildren, Kaydence and Vance Brunyer and his mother Violet and stepfather Marion Manwill. His siblings are LeAnn and (James) Hill, Kathy Adams, Bob Brunyer, Steven and (Jacquie) Brunyer, Christi and (Rob) Dobbins, Jeremy Brunyer and Tory Brunyer, many nieces and nephews that all loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father A. DuWayne Brunyer, stepmother Linda Brunyer, and his grandparents.

A memorial service will be held on December 5, 2-5 p.m. in the clubhouse at Crescent Heights Condominiums, 11025 Grapevine Cove, Sandy.
