Danny Lee Drury was born December 31, 1947 to parents Thomas M. Drury and Celia Jensen Drury in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Danny graduated from South High School in 1966 and immediately joined the U.S. Army to be with his buddies. He served as a Staff Sergeant in Germany. Danny was a talented musician who traveled the world with the USO and his brother Tom. Danny loved the outdoors which led him to a lifetime of dream jobs including running a ranch in Kamas, Utah and working at Deer Valley for a combined 30 years. Danny is preceded in death by his mother Celia, father Thomas and sister Marjorie.
He is survived by his step-mother Donna Drury Landes , brother Thomas Drury and sisters Sharron Furness, GayLynne Lillie, Virginia Dahle and Tonya Baxter and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
