Pata Sailusi Sauni, 80, of Sandy Utah, returned to our Father in Heaven on June 8th 2014. He was born to the late Pata Sailusi Sauni Sr. and Logovi�i Sefo Sauni on June 9th 1933 in Malie, Western Samoa. Pata Sailusi Sauni is survived by his Daughters Mariama (Tupule) Poloa, Orepa Sauni, and his Sons Lamana (Tiana) Sauni and Lemuelu Sauni; 33 Grandchildren and 32 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Malia Ioane Sauni, his daughters Naomi Sauni and Ruta Puefua and his sons Pata Sailusi Sauni Jr and Fuataina Sauni. Pata Sauni served 2 full time missions for the LDS Church at the Apia Samoa Temple. He was currently volunteering as a full-time worker at the Apia Samoa Temple when he returned to our Father in Heaven. He loved serving his community members, friends and most of all his family. He was a great man of service, humor, love and compassion. Pata Sauni will be greatly missed by his family, friends and peers. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2014 at the 1175 East 7800 South Sandy, UT LDS Chapel. Family services to begin at 11 am-12:30 pm. Bishop Services beginning at 1-2 pm. Interment being at Lake View Cemetery immediately following the Bishop Service.
