He leaves behind his six children; Jaque (Keith) Wallace, Jody (Shayne) Bean, Seth (Melania) Rosquist, Charlinda (Brady Quigley) Kyle, Burke (Marlana) Rosquist, Azel (April Baker) Rosquist, along with 24 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren, his brothers, Bud (Diane) Rosquist, Von (Mary) Rosquist, Fred (Barbara) Rosquist, Cary (Kris) Rosquist, and his sister, Ladaun Ray and many cousins, nieces and nephews who he loved and cherished.

Dale was a life-time mechanic, classic car and hot rod enthusiast, he moved to Ramah, New Mexico in 1984 to give it a go at being a cowboy ranch hand for his father-in-law. When being a cowboy got old, he went back to his roots as a mechanic, running a service station. After living in New Mexico for 15 years he relocated back to Utah.

As a jack of all trades he always had something to fall back on which helped him provide for his family. He became a master of calligraphy and pool (billiards.) He enjoyed glass etching, wood carving and liked playing as an amateur train conductor. His fondest and favorite working memory was as a street artist, drawing caricatures in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.
