Dale G. Lang passed away on February 23, 2016 after a valiant battle with cancer. Dale was born in Sandy, Utah on August 22, 1938 to Esther Olive Rindlisbacher and George Milton Lang. He grew up in Sandy, attending local schools and was a 1956 graduate of Jordan High School. He married Kathryn Linda Brown in the Salt Lake Temple on June 25, 1959.
Dale was always a sports fan, cheering for BYU. He loved traveling to "small town" America. Dale worked in the wholesale hardware and building industry for 45 years. He was a salesman and later a marketing executive. After retiring for just one day, he began a second career selling wood pallets until his passing.
Dale had an unwavering testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He engaged in service to his Savior his entire life. He served faithfully as a home teacher, Branch President, Bishop and High Counselor, as well as numerous other callings through the years.
Dale is survived by his wife, Kathryn; one daughter and four sons, Sidney Ann (Mike) Christensen of Blanding, UT; Bryan Dale (Phayvanh) of Draper, UT; Roger Neff (Lori) of Sandy, UT; Commander David George (Chantelle) of Chesapeake, VA; Steven Vernon of Salt Lake City, UT. He has nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by sister, June (Ike) Fenstermaker of Rigby, ID. Dale is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Thomas Milton Lang.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah. Viewings will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday evening and from 10-10:45 a.m. on Saturday. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.
