D.Anna Lundstrom Snow Otegui

Anna passed gently to the other side Sunday morning having spent her last night watching her Utes dismantle the Ducks, with her daughter Jodi by her side. Born to Stanley J. Despain and Willa Greer in Union, Utah, eventually moving to the family farm in Granite. Where, under the ever diligent eyes of Willa, Kate, Maureen, and Maxine, she perfected and mastered the arts of quilting, needlepoint, knitting, and crochet. And just like the brilliant sky blue color of her eyes would foretell, Anna threw herself at life and was rewarded with a never ending new path to walk upon. From loyal Beetdigger to Runnin' Ute, trauma nurse to kindergarten teacher, from Ken and the gang on Mt. View Drive, Wendell and their tour of the United States by RV, to Frank 'n Sissie exploring the great high deserts of the West, each journey enriching her and those she held dear.

We would like to thank her for allowing us to have been alongside her in her travels or waiting for her return. As well as giving us the freedom and free agency to pick our own paths to tread and horizons to meet. In addition to lacing all eight ski boots before she hit the slopes of Alta, fingers raw!

She is preceded in life's end by Kenneth Lundstrom, Wendell Snow and Frank Otegui, her son-in-law and first grandson, Andy and Zac Larrinaga. Anna takes a new path and bids farewell to her three children, John Lundstrom, Layne and Susan Lundstrom, daughter Jodi Larrinaga, her grandchildren Ryly Larrinaga and her husband Daniel Aguerre, Jordan Lundstrom and her brother John "Butch" Despain.

All that were touched by Anna are invited to join us Friday night, October 2nd at Goff Mortuary in Midvale from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.  A graveside celebration of her life will take place in Eureka, Nevada on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 PM at the Catholic City Cemetery where she will once again join Frank and the sweet smell of the sage.  In lieu of flowers, "Hug your loved ones and enjoy the days that you have upon the dirt!"
