Connie Bedont

Connie Olson Bedont, age 87, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 3, 2019. She was born on June 17, 1932 at home in Fountain Green, Utah to Olof and Kristina Olson. Connie grew up with her two sisters working the family farm. She graduated from Moroni High School. She kept in touch with many of her school friends throughout the years. She married Reid Olson, later divorced. They had 4 children. In 1968, she married Ernest Bedont. He preceded her in death in 1987.

Connie ran the Midvale Liquor Store for 29 years. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved her Savior.

Connie loved to shop and travel. She will be remembered for her love of holidays, listening to old country music and watching the Utah Jazz and Colorado Rockies. She supported her family in their various activities. She was known for being a sassy redhead and her love for chickens.

Connie is survived by her children, Cinda Lou, Wayne (Bonnie) and Calvin (Ann). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her son, Edwin, her parents and her sisters, Hazel and Peggy.

The last couple of years, Connie has resided at Sunridge Assisted Living where she made several friends among the residents and staff. She looked forward to her visits with her hospice nurses, Scott and Amy.

Private family services were held. Interment at the Moroni Cemetery.
