Clint Lester Bond

A joyous reunion in Heaven took place on June 26th when our husband, dad and grandpa passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family.

Clint was born in Henefer, Utah to Nephi Alma Bond Jr and Emily Ingeborg Inkley. He attended elementary school in Henefer and graduated from North Summit High in 1941. He went to Salt Lake City to work for Salt Lake Cabinet to make church benches. He served a 2 year mission in Canada 1947-1948. He married his sweetheart Marjorie Wright in the Salt Lake City Temple April 20, 1950. They had four children and resided in Henefer, Utah where he continued to run the family farm. He worked 38 years at Holnam Cement Company (Red Devil Cement) where he made many friends and was well respected. He spent many volunteer hours pouring cement for widows throughout Henefer.

He enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, reading, and golf. He loved spending time with his family. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served faithfully in ward and stake callings. He had a strong testimony of the gospel and shared it with his family.

Clint is survived by his bride Marjorie, children Jeanette, Carrie, Arvin and Russell, 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit the family Friday 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 to 10:45 am at the Henefer Ward Building. Burial will be in Hoytsville, Utah.

The family would like to thank Justin, Cory Ann and Tycee for their excellent care of Clint.
