Cleance Alexander James

Cleance Alexander James passed away on May 24, 2021 in Sandy, Utah.  He was born December 26, 1971 in Roatan, Honduras to Rodney James and Alice Allen.

Cleance moved to Long Beach, California in 1982.  He graduated from Robert A. Millikan High School in 1991.  After graduating he came to Utah to attend Job Corp.  He learned how to do printing.  He also went to Salt Lake Community  College.  He had several warehouse production job throughout the years.  He was a hard worker at whatever job he was doing.  One of these jobs he meet his long time girlfriend, Holly in 1998.

Cleance loved his daughter very much.  Madison was his world.  He will be missed by many.  We hope he has found peace and happiness.

He is preceded in death by Rodney James (father).  He is survived by Holly Oveson (long time girlfriend),  Madison Alex James (daughter), Jack James (brother), Robert Mclendon (brother), Travis Mclendon (brother), Rod James (brother),  Alicia Mclendon (sister),  Crystal James (sister), aunts, cousins, and many friends.

A viewing will be held  on June 4, 2021 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St. in Midvale, Utah from 1 pm - 2 pm.  Graveside Services at Sandy Cemetery, 700 E. 9000 S. at 2;30 pm.
