Clark Wilkinson

Clark Reese Wilkinson, OUR HERO, passed away on February 5, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Reese was born on July 22, 1949, in Santa Barbara, California to Clark and Dona Wilkinson. He spent most of his childhood in Midvale, Utah, and graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1967. He served 20 years with both the Air Force and Utah Air National Guard, 151st Security Police, earning the rank of Master Sergeant before retiring in 1999. One of many highlights from his time in the military was that his squadron was tasked with guarding Air Force One, whenever the President came to Salt Lake City. He liked to say that he had the privilege of meeting or seeing every president from Carter to George W. Bush. Though his favorite thing about the presidents coming in was that he got to talk with the Secret Service agents about their jobs. After the military, he worked at L3 Communications doing security clearances for employees. He retired after 10 years just before the birth of his first grandchild. He spent the rest of his retirement watching grandkids, serving at his church, and enjoying a relaxed life. One of his great passions in life was coaching baseball and softball, he coached his son and his friends for 40 years. He loved being around the teams at the ballpark.

Reese is survived by his wife Teresa, son Clint (Carrie), and three grandchildren Gracie, Charlie, and Russell. He was preceded in death by his parents Clark and Dona, and his brother Lynn.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Goff Mortuary in Midvale, Utah at 11am. A lunch will be served after at Lone Peak Park indoor pavilion in Sandy, Utah.
