Clarence James Hill returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Collier Hospice Center in Wheatridge, Colorado. He has been battling cancer for several years. He was born on May 9, 1936 in Lake Shore, Utah, the son of George Albert and Velma LaVern Graves Hill. He grew up in Sandy, Utah and was well known by many. He attended Sandy Elementary, Sandy Jr. High and Jordan High School. He married Loretta Ann Graham on March 15, 1957 in Sandy, Utah at the home of his parents. They recently celebrated 61 years of marriage. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on March 5, 1962. Clarence was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved his Heavenly Father and Savior. He enjoyed serving in different positions, High Councilor and Executive Secretary were two of his favorites. His most favorite calling was serving as a Temple Worker in the Denver Temple, where he served for many years. He is survived by his loving wife, Loretta and his four children and their spouses, Michael James (Susan) Hill, Lisa Ann (Joe) Riboli, Rhonda Kay (Tony) McLaughlin and Stephanie Lynne (Andy) Muheim; 5 grandchildren, Ariel and Cameron Riboli, Jane and Sarah McLaughlin and Christopher (Toph) Muheim. He is also survived by his brothers, Lloyd (Mirtes) Hill and Blaine (Cheryl) Hill; sisters, LaReta (Kendall) Frandsen, Martha (Leon) Morrow and Shirlene (Joseph) Chavez and sister-in-law, Beverly Hill. He is preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Sterling Albert Hill, George Mitchell Hill and Vance Hill. At his request, there will be no funeral. His remains will be laid to rest in the Veterans Cemetery in Colorado.
