Christine Ann Tramazzo, born August 27, 1954 in Bronx, New York - child of Henry "Eddie" and Victoria (Casola) Tramazzo - sadly passed October 29, 2021 of natural causes in her Midvale, Utah home.
Christine spent most of her life in Middlesex, New Jersey - initially with her older brother, Henry "Hank" Tramazzo and family, after their parents passed, when she was just 16. She attended Middlesex High School and then met her husband Eugene "Gene" Raymond Szurgocinski shortly after and they then raised their two daughters in Middlesex together. She later moved to Utah and spent her last few years enjoying spending time with her grandchildren.
Christine was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Raymond Szurgocinski as well as her brother Henry Tramazzo. She is survived by her daughters Jennine (Szurgocinski) Remington, UT, and Melissa (Szurgocinski) Schneider, PA, and their respective husbands Derek Remington and Micah Schneider, and her cherished grandchildren: Mia, Oscar, Simone and Marley. She is also survived by her four loving nephews and their families: Edward, Richard, Robert and Joseph Tramazzo.
Christine loved music, especially Doo-Wop and Rock & Roll and often reminisced about her childhood summers spent in in Peekskill, NY swimming and relaxing. Chris and Gene often attended Jeep races and enjoyed Pink Floyd concerts together.
Christine will not be forgotten and we love to think she is resting "comfortably numb" with Gene and laughing with Hank and their parents. In lieu of flowers, her family would like donations to be made to National Suicide Prevention at
