Cj Brown

CJ left this world on January 21st, 2022 at the age of 34. He was born to Marlene and Charles (Chuck) Brown on September 12th, 1987 and grew up in Sandy, Utah. He attended Catholic school most of his life and graduated from Alta High School in 2006. Throughout his school years, he enjoyed playing basketball and travelling for basketball tournaments. He had a passion for serving his country as a Staff Sergeant in the Charlie Battery 1-145 Field Artillery unit for the Army National Guard. CJ’s biggest joy was his son, Caidence Jonathan Brown (9). CJ was Caidence’s hero and an amazing daddy. Caidence was always by his side and looked up to him with so much love and admiration. CJ was a big kid his own self, he enjoyed going to amusement/water parks, arcade fun centers, “gaming with the boys”, NERF gun fights, monster trucks, UFC fight nights, and all things Philadelphia Eagles.
CJ was bigger than life, he brightened any room he walked in, and he was always the life of the party. In his short life, he always lived each day to its fullest. He never missed an opportunity to “take shots” or light off fireworks. He enjoyed spending every holiday with his family and friends, but Christmas was his all-time favorite. He was always at the grill, “have you ever had a bacon wrapped pickle?” Many of CJ’s weekend nights consisted of a late-night run to Del Taco (even after eating a full dinner). He once said he had to eat every 2 hours, or he would start to shrink. He was loyal, fun-loving, kind, honorable, and one of the happiest guy’s you would ever meet. He was always on an adventure and was overall just a good time.
Anyone that met CJ, walked away a better person. His memory will forever live on through all of us. His loved ones should continue to honor his legacy, by living their lives to the fullest.
CJ is survived by his son, Caidence; mother, Marlene; father, Chuck; sisters Sherrie and Chelsea; nephew, Hayden; niece, Novalee; and his two rottweiler’s Thor and Rambo.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an account that has been set up for his son, Caidence. Venmo: @cabalini (the name will show “Chelsea for Caidence Brown” and the last 4 digits of phone are 9662 to verify the transfer)
In honor of CJ, we will be having a Celebration of Life Saturday, February 26th, 2022 at 14:00 (2:00 pm) at the Spanish Fork Armory 2751 N. Main Street Spanish Fork, Utah, 84660.
