Carrie Meyers, 63, of West Jordan, UT, passed away suddenly on October 14, 2020.
Carrie was born on October 25, 1956 to Ronald Harlow Meyers and Leah May Sundell in Salt Lake City, UT. She graduated from Bingham High School in 1975. After graduation, Carrie started working at National Semiconductor (Fairchild Semiconductor) as an Engineer, kicking off a 29 year career.
Carrie was very avid in softball. She first started playing softball on a work team which then turned semi-pro. She also loved coaching girls softball at Kearns Recreation and as back up coach at Kearns High School. She also loved going fishing and hunting with her family and had great companionship with her dogs Champ and Fox. After retiring in 2000, Carrie loved spending her time bird watching and feeding the ducks that loved to gather on her front lawn.
Carrie was preceded in death by her father Ronald, mother Leah, brother Randy, nieces Missy and Aleese. She is survived by siblings Steve Meyers, Mark Meyers, Susan (Brent) Rudd, 7 nephews, 5 nieces and many great nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the Mountain Shadows 6th Ward, 8199 S 3200 W, West Jordan from 11 am to 1 pm. Interment will follow at West Jordan City Cemetery, 7925 S 1300 W, West Jordan at 1:30.
