Carolyn Larsen Pease

Our beautiful loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 24th, 2024.

Mom was born on May 14th, 1939 to Newel and Amy Larsen in Logan Hospital and grew up in Mantua, UT on the farm with her siblings and had a deep love for the small town of Mantua.

After graduating from Box Elder High School she moved to Salt Lake City to attend LDS Business College. She worked at the Genealogy Library Research Department and Beehive House. Later in life she started a career working at VF Factory Outlet as a manager and retired after 25 years. Her biggest career was taking care of her family and was the greatest mom ever.

She married Floyd Pease, Jr. on February 20th, 1959. Together they had five wonderful children. Later divorced. Mom’s greatest joy in life was her family. Mom supported all of us in our sporting events and was our greatest cheerleader in life. She loved being at the ballfield watching her children and grandchildren playing their favorite sports. Mom loved to play golf with family and friends. Mom loved to crochet and made blankets, bibs and burps for every new baby that arrived in our family. She loved gardening and beautiful flowers which was passed down from her mother’s beautiful garden in Mantua.

Mom had unconditional love and a huge heart for all of us. We will miss her homemade rolls, holiday meals and family get togethers.

Mom is survived by her children Sheri (Scott) Dowding, Tami (Larry) Christensen, Cari (Dennis) Luce, Amy (Guy) Urry and Steven Pease, as well as 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, sisters and brothers.
