Carol Burgon

Carol Burgon, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 18, 2017 after a long battle with diabetes and lymphoma. Carol was born December 21, 1933 to Samual Bodell and Lydia Payne Bodell. She married the love of her life Jack Burgon on June 27, 1953, together they raised five children. They had 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild. Carol graduated from Jordan High School in 1953. Mom enjoyed making quilts for her children and grandchildren. She loved sitting down and putting together jigsaw puzzles together.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband Jack, and brothers Merlin and Jack. She is survived by her children Cindy (Glenn) Ney, Susan (Pat) O'Hanlen, Lorie (Jerry) Olson, Mark (Debbie) Burgon, and Jeff (Margo) Burgon, twelve grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandson, and sisters Shirleen Johnstun and Glenna Harmon.

Funeral will be held Friday, December 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with a viewing from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street, Midvale, Utah.
