Brett James Beardall beloved father, son, and brother, was born on July 11, 1971 in Sioux City, Iowa to Kenneth Darwin and Barbara Ann Newton Beardall. He passed away tragically in an accident on December 5, 2024.
He grew up in Mona, Utah and attended Juab High School. He raised his family in Nephi then returned home to Mona. He has been taking care of his mother for several years, keeping her house and yard in immaculate condition. She will greatly miss the wonderful care he has taken of her.
He enjoyed art and gardening but his favorite hobby was collecting arrowheads at his special place, Mona Reservoir. He never revealed the exact location of where he found them. Brett saw the good in everyone and wanted to serve his fellow men. If he saw a need he would do his best to fill it. He served to his last breath.
Brett had a real abiding love for his Father in Heaven and his Savior Jesus Christ. He wore his CTR ring through out his life and kept his Book of Mormon close. He’s been known to slip a new CTR ring into a loved ones casket.
Brett married Haddi Olsen on September 19, 1990. Together they had 5 children. They later divorced. He is survived by his five children, Jami, Aleeca, Tara, Brett James Jr. (BJ) and wife Tanisha, and Scott Beardall, four grandchildren, Unique, Ryker, Malaki, and Harmony. He is also survived by his mother Barbara and 6 of his siblings, Debbie (Brad) Sutherland, DeAnn (Jim) Sutherland, Jill (Keoni) Stephens, Michael (Claudia Kemp) Beardall, JoEllen (Darin) Peterson, and Stefanie Beardall. He was preceded in death by his father Ken, brother Steven, and a grandchild named Angel.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024 for his family and close friends. He will be laid to rest in the Mona Cemetery.
