Brenda M. Sperry

Brenda Malmgren Sperry, our talented and beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away June 18, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born to Ed C. Malmgren and Carlene Haynes Malmgren on August 19, 1961 in Nephi, Utah. Brenda was the first of three girls.

Brenda grew up in Nephi. She graduated from Juab High School. She married her sweetheart and best friend Richard G. Sperry June 29, 1979. They enjoyed many vacations and trips together making many memories along the way.

Brenda had an amazing work ethic. If you needed a job done whether it was her employer or family, she was your girl. She was most recently employed by RMWT.

She was blessed with a laugh that would fill a room or a canyon full of family and friends on the many buggy rides. She had a caring and thoughtfulness about her that she generously loved to share with her many artistic talents.

Brenda was a true lover of all animals. Her dog Bo will surely miss her absence, but Brenda’s true passion was for her horses. She had the ability to connect emotionally with them and wanted to bring every animal she came across home. We know her favorite horse DJ was waiting to give her a ride home.

Brenda is survived by her husband Richard, daughter Braci Sperry (Justin Memmott), son Jayson (Amee) Sperry, grandchildren Emrie Rollins, Dyllan Sperry, and Jaida Sperry, father Ed C. Malmgren, mother Carlene Haynes Malmgren, sisters Teresa (Rex Stephensen), Rhonda (Tyler) Filby and nieces and nephews.

At her request there will be a celebration of life for immediate family and friends. In leu of flowers please give a donation to your favorite/local animal rescue shelter.
