Brandy Fresquez

Brandy Fresquez passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 33 on October 15, 2021 at her home in West Jordan, Utah.

Brandy was brought into this world June 3, 1988 in Phoenix, Arizona by her loving parents Rick Fresquez and Belinda Davey. She then moved with her father and younger sister Tara to Utah at the age of 4, where she then lived with her grandparents Elifas and Beatrice until the age of 18. After graduating West Jordan High, Brandy then married her high school sweetheart Brad Griffin in 09'. They lived a happy life together until they parted ways, but remained very close.

Brandy loved to travel and explore new places. She was always ready for adventure. She enjoyed quiet evenings with family. Brandy often explored the local hiking trails and found beauty in the wildflowers while hiking with her dog Iggy.

She was always very independent from a young age and took a lot of pride in the work she would do. Brandy chose to move back home to take care for her elderly grandparents. Brandy had an un-canny ability to find happiness in her daily activities and taking care of others needs before her own. Brandy enjoyed playing, teaching, hanging out, and bonding with her nephew Heston. Brandy loved helping her family, she was always there in a time of need and cherished each and every one of her relationships.

Brandy left us too soon, she was so loved by everyone she met and she will not be forgotten.

Brandy is survived in death by Elifas Fresquez (grandfather), Rick Fresquez (father), Belinda Davey (mother) Frank Tullio (stepfather), Tara (Alex) Urtaza (sister), Erica Jennings (half-sister), Matt Jennings (half-brother), Heston (nephew), Cooper (nephew), several aunts and cousins.

She is preceded in death by Beatrice Fresquez (grandmother), Ernest Fresquez (uncle) and Rodney Fresquez (uncle).

Brandy will be honored in a celebration of life on October 30, 2021 at the West Jordan Veterans Memorial Park, 1985 West 7800 South in West Jordan. Visiting hours are from 1 pm to 3 pm.
