Bradley Ben Cutler, 50, is now at peace. He was born March 10, 1969 to Reed and Shirley Cutler in Bountiful, UT. He was the youngest of five. Brad attended school in Bountiful and afterwards began working at WordPerfect, later acquired by Novell. Unbeknownst to him, he was hired by his future wife, Alisa Barnett. They were married October 2, 1993, with his new stepson Cameron proudly bearing the ring.
Brad and Alisa welcomed their first child together, Alexandra, in 1998 and welcomed Aidan shortly after in 2003. Brad was unwavering in his dedication to his children and through his wisdom prepared them all for the struggles of this world. Irrespective of circumstance, a day never passed where his children didn’t receive a call from their Dad just to check in and say, “Love you, dude!”, or to convey some new nugget of wisdom realized on walkabout.
Brad was driven by his duty to his family and achieved much, most notably management of the InForms team, implementation of E-Directory, development of the Superlab and was also awarded Novell’s Employee of the Year.
Brad was preceded in death by both his beloved mother and father, and nephew, Christopher Lindley. He is survived by his children Cameron, Alexandra, and Aidan; siblings Dave (Kathy), LeAnn (Paul), Dan (Kath), and Karalee; nieces Shannon, Megan, Aliya, Brianna, Jillian, Grace, Barbara, Kasey; nephews Marshall, Ethan, Sam, JD, Chris, Tyler, Ryan, and former spouse, Alisa.
Think about giving someone the shirt off your back today, preferably while listening to your favorite metal album. Rest in Peace, Brad.
